Greenbelt Station - South Core
Greenbelt Station-South Core is an 87-acre transit-oriented residential infill project approved for over 1,000 units of townhouse, condominium and apartment development located adjacent to the Greenbelt MARC Station and the Greenbelt Metro Station.
Linowes and Blocher represented the national homebuilder who purchased this Prince George’s County property from a secured lender who had foreclosed on the project one year earlier. Linowes and Blocher negotiated the acquisition, conducted land use due diligence, reviewed title and survey, advised on municipal tax increment financing options, and waded through the project’s extensive history of municipal development agreements with the City of Greenbelt, City of College Park and Town of Berwyn Heights. Linowes and Blocher also negotiated the joint venture agreement with the New York investment bank providing additional equity for the deal.
