Richard M. Zeidman's primary areas of practice are commercial real estate development and finance including acquisition, development and disposition of improved and unimproved property, and municipal leasing and contracting, ground leasing and commercial leasing.

Mr. Zeidman has represented public company and private developers throughout the region and specializes in public/private ventures and mixed-use projects involving municipalities, agencies and the Federal government. Mr. Zeidman's various project activities have included the:

  • Representation of Foulger-Pratt in the acquisition, negotiation and leasing of the 1,200,000 square foot mixed-use GSA/NOAA facility in Silver Spring, Maryland, including development of a 1,200 stall public parking garage, the public/private redevelopment of the Downtown Silver Spring Urban Renewal Area and the WMATA Silver Spring Transit Center
  • Representation of Federal Realty Investment Trust in the Rockville Town Square
  • Representation of Stonebridge-Carras/PN Hoffman Lot 31 in the Bethesda CBD
  • Representation of Eakin, Youngentob at the County Service Park at Shady Grove
  • Representation of Percontee at the Global Life Sciences Development in White Oak 
  • Representation of Washington Property Company's Progress Place in Silver Spring

as well as numerous other public and private commercial development projects.
