Linowes and Blocher LLP Adds, Elevates Attorneys

BETHESDA, MD – Linowes and Blocher LLP, a full service real estate and business law firm, will start the New Year with new partners, a new Of Counsel attorney, and several new associates.

Linda M. Schuett, former County Attorney for Anne Arundel County, has joined Linowes and Blocher’s Annapolis office as Partner. Ms. Schuett will focus her practice on land use matters, but also has a considerable history as a mediator and litigator. Prior to her appointment as County Attorney, Ms. Schuett was in private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts from Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Law School.

Linowes and Blocher also recently named Anne C. Martin as Partner. Ms. Martin, the current Chair of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, was an associate with the firm since 1999. Ms. Martin’s practice has concentrated on land use and municipal law. She regularly assists clients with legislative and regulatory issues during all phases of the development process, primarily within Montgomery County. Anne Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and a Juris Doctor from Catholic University.

Renee M. Finley, an associate with Linowes and Blocher since 2003, has been named Of Counsel. Working with the firm’s Real Estate Transactions and Condominium/Community Association Groups, Ms. Finley has represented builders and developers in a variety of projects, including mixed-used public/private partnerships, land condominiums, and condominium conversions. Ms. Finley holds a Bachelor of Arts from the New College of California, and a Juris Doctor from the New College of California Law School.
