Orrick and Zeidman to Speak at Public/Private Partnerships Seminar
Jack Orrick and Richard Zeidman will be speakers at the Lorman Education Services seminar on Public/Private Partnerships (P3’s) in Maryland to be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. During the seminar you will be able to explore different projects that are suitable for P3’s on the State and local levels, hear about the financial consideration of P3 projects, learn about regulations and legislation impacting P3 projects and discuss case studies of successful P3 projects. The seminar will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites located at 124 Womack Drive in Annapolis, Maryland. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the seminar will run until 4:30 p.m.
Mr. Orrick will be speaking on the subject of financing considerations for P3 Projects such as public vs. private funds, tiered financing, tax credits, tax exempt bond requirements, TIF’s and special taxing districts. Mr. Zeidman will be part of a panel discussion with Greg Ossont from the Department of General Services of Montgomery County and Brian (A.J.) Jackson of EYA, LLC, that will be speaking on P3’s in Montgomery County, which includes a case study, structuring the P3 transaction, and documenting the P3 transaction.
