Linowes and Blocher Partner, Jack Orrick will be a co-speaker at the Probono Resource Center of Maryland's 11th Annual Veterans' Legal Assistance Conference and Training. Designed for lawyers, law students, veterans, policymakers and other service professionals, this annual conference provides a forum for discussion of critical legal issues facing our veterans.  It features substantive panels on hot topics in veterans law and also offers training to volunteer lawyers who commit to provide pro bono assistance to veterans in need. 

Jack and Lee Dougherty will speak on "Going From Boots to Business Turning Veterans Into Entrepreneurs," giving us the nuts and bolts of starting and continuing a business entity, including information on choice of business entity under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, programs through the Small Business Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Maryland State.
