Marguerite DeVoll joins Linowes and Blocher LLP

Linowes and Blocher LLP is pleased to welcome Marguerite Lee DeVoll as an associate in the Commercial Litigation/Bankruptcy practice group. Ms. DeVoll's practice focuses on business restructurings, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights.

Prior to joining Linowes and Blocher, Ms. DeVoll was a bankruptcy associate with a large national law firm in Atlanta, Georgia where she defended fraudulent transfer and preference actions for a Fortune 100 company. Ms. DeVoll also served as a law clerk for the Honorable William R. Sawyer of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama from 2010-2012. She has experience representing creditors in corporate Chapter 11 cases and individual Chapter 7 and 13 cases as well as debtors in corporate Chapter 11 cases.  

During law school, Ms. DeVoll served as Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. In her free time, Ms. DeVoll is active in the local chapter of International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the Military Spouse JD Network.
